OPPORTUNITIES TO SHARE YOUR WORK:
There will be an opportunity for any attendee to share a lightening update (<5 minutes) on Wednesday afternoon. Everyone is encouraged to present an update; let us know about any bat-related work you are involved in! A sign-up sheet will be available on Tuesday at check-in.
LOCATION:
The meeting will be held at the Welaka Training Center, located at the Welaka State Forest Headquarters in Welaka, FL. Specific directions will be emailed to registrants.

Wednesday, April 3 at 8:45 am to 3:00 pm
REGISTRATION:
Registration for the 2024 Florida Bat Working Group Meeting is now CLOSED. We are at capacity - NO LATE REGISTRANTS will be permitted.
Cost to attend the 2024 meeting is $20. Lodging and meals can also be purchased for an additional fee on the registration page (see details below). You will need to add each meal and the night of lodging into your cart using the links provided to purchase.
FLBWG annual membership fee for 2024 will be included as part of the meeting registration cost; you will NOT need to pay an annual membership fee separately (all attendees will become members for the term of April 2024 to March 2025). Details about FLBWG membership.
MEALS:
Meals will be available onsite for meeting attendees who pre-register and pay prior to the registration deadline. Registration for onsite meals is now CLOSED. All others should bring meals as needed. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water will be available during breaks. You will need to add each meal into your cart using the links provided on the registration page to purchase.
LODGING OPTIONS:
Welaka State Forest Training Center offers dormitory lodging on-site for up to 39 people. This lodging option is available to meeting attendees who pre-register prior to the registration deadline. Registration for dorm lodging is now CLOSED. Rooms will be assigned after registration on a first come first served basis. You will be sharing a bedroom with 2-5 people. Bathrooms are located within most rooms, or shared among 2-3 rooms.
Camping is available within Welaka State Forest at the Equestrian Campground or at Welaka Primitive Campsites. Individuals interested in this option can reserve and pay via the ReserveAmerica website. Camping is open to the public and spaces do sell out in the spring months, so make your reservation asap if you would like this option.
